Downtown Farmers Market
There was sweet corn. I bought a cooked piece and... yum. There were cherries. There were yellow plums.
I've never tasted a yellow plum but did when a lady offered me a sample.
I ended up buying a pound.
Double yum.
There were rhubarb, strawberries and peaches.
(Good thing for that sign because I don't think I would have known how to spell rhubarb.)And... There was this couple dancing to street band.

Punched
I was feeding Baby Girl when Baby J suddenly had the desire for me to hold him
When I refused him he threw himself on the floor in a tantrum. I ignored him for a minute but when it continued I told him to go to his room
He got up and walked past this stack of pictures that are waiting to be hung. He had just past them when he suddenly stopped came back and punched me in the picture-face.
How do I respond to that?
I didn't know so I didn't respond at all.

Moving day
Husband borrowed this horse trailer from a friend to move our crap... I mean stuff to our new place.
Jesse got in it to check and out and the first thing he noticed was the smell.
He wrinkled up his nose and said it smelled 'like yuck'.
My boys are such city-boys!
I need to take them up to my parents and leave them for a few weeks to help with pipe-moving, chicken feeding, goat milking and garden weeding.
Sheesh.

Garden Center
I was looking for flowers to replace the dead ones on my front porch. I guess I was supposed to water them or something... ?
:)
The boys LOVE these macaw's at the garden center. I had to drag Baby away from them kicking and screaming when it was time to go.
Maybe I should have encouraged him to stick his fingers in the bird cage. That would have convinced him to come with me.
Please don't call CPS.
I wouldn't really do that...

Cool treats
They're eating what I had left of this...
I just looked at this pictures and realized that I had SEVEN kids at my house this morning. (These five and Baby J and Baby Girl.)
CRAZY!
It didn't seem like it though.
Maybe I'm getting better at this 'mom' thing.
Or maybe the kids were all being good and Baby Girl slept the whole time the boys' friends were here.
I'm going to go with the 1st one. ;)

Putting his trust in Daddy
It's been so hot the last few days.
High 90's.
Luckily... We have a few friends who have pools and like to occasionally invite us over. Tonight we went and called it FHE. :)

Baby J didn't know what to think about being in the pool but he was alright as long as his Dad was holding onto him.
BTW... This weekend is supposed to get up to about 103 degrees. Better fill the kiddie pool and stock up on Popsicles.

My kind of lunch
Sam and I have VERY different tastes when it comes to food. (Alot of other things too but this post is about food.)
So for lunch, when Husband is not eating with me, I eat alot of seafood, pasta with lots of lemon, garlic and Parmesan cheese and vegi's that he won't eat like artichokes, asparagus and squash.

1 c. frozen peaches
a container of homemade freezer jam (strawberry) Freezer jam has much less sugar so I felt okay about it. ;)
Verdict: YUMMY!!!
I froze the leftovers in Popsicle molds. Excited to try them today.
