It's raining. It's pouring!

It poured rain this afternoon. So much that all the water didn't know where to go so it flooded like this all over town.

Brunch

We got up early and drove to Vernal to see how Sam's dad was doing and have a late breakfast with his parents.

FIL seems to be doing good. We could tell that after about an hour he started to get tired but that was okay since we had to be back for church by 2pm.

Christmas? Already?

I was at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and was surprised to find them stocking shelves with Thanksgiving decor.

Wait...

Have I mentioned that I LOVE Hobby Lobby? Do you have a Hobby Lobby where you live? I hope so. If not... I offer my condolences.

Anyway.

Today I was at Hobby Lobby and found this.

Since I love Hobby Lobby so much, I can forgive them for this but if I'm being honest... It's a little annoying.

Don't get me wrong.

I love Christmas.

But I love 1 month of Christmas. Not six.

I made this poster-thing for M last year when he was student of the week. I didn't want to throw it away but I knew that I couldn't keep it forever because it's so big.

I've decided this babysitting thing might work out.
It gives me the opportunity to snuggle a baby, dress up a little girl and have pink, girly stuff around while still getting my sleep at night and not worrying about all the parent stuff.
Also it's much less expensive. Especially in our case since there are no adoption fees! In fact I GET $$$ for having all of the pink sweetness around. :)

I won but just barely!
Baby J pinched M so I put him in time-out.
At our house it always goes the same way.
Do something naughty.
Go to time-out.
Say sorry to the offended party.
Get out of time-out.
All was going accordingly until the 'sorry' part came. Instead of saying 'sorry' Baby pretended to go in for a hug but then PUNCHED M.
So... Back to time-out. Over and over Baby refused to say 'sorry' so he kept going back to time-out. After OVER AN HOUR, I wanted to give up. All I could do to not get frustrated was get my camera and take some pictures of Mr. Stubborn.
Finally!! After about 90 minutes, Baby finally gave in and said sorry.
Mommy - 1 Baby - 0

Off to the park

We didn't want Baby J to be lonely so we put Lexie in with him. :)

Notice the black stuff on his nose? Who knows what is.
